West Lothian Self Management Project

The project helps people affected by a recent diagnosis of dementia stay in control of their lives. People with dementia and their carers often feel overwhelmed by questions such as 'What happens now'?  'What can I expect in the future?'  'Where can I get support?'.

We help people explore the problems they face and to find ways to live with and manage their illness. Together, we can begin to understand their abilities and interests and build on these to help people live as full a life as possible.

This project is the first of its kind for people with dementia in West Lothian.  If you think this might be for you call us for more information. The office is open Tues, Wed, Thurs 9am - 3pm.
