The Meeting Place

A Meeting Place for people with dementia and their carers of all ages. Drop in and join us for information, support, and social activities. On alternate Saturdays at the Lifecare Centre, Stockbridge and Eric Liddell Centre, Morningside.

This may be just what you have been looking for. An opportunity to relax and socialise with others, and to participate in the chosen activity or entertainment.

Come along for a light lunch, a coffee and a chat and stay on for social activities. Lunch will be from 12 p.m. with the activity starting at approximately 1.15 p.m.

Tea and a biscuitYou will have access to information, support and advice from our staff. From time to time we invite speakers to talk about relevant topics and you have the opportunity to build the type of group YOU want to be a part of.

Parking

There is a limited amount of on street metered parking in Chamberlain Road and Colinton Road for periods of up to two hours.

For longer term parking there are nine hour parking bays for £3 per day in Clinton Road, five minutes from the centre between Whitehouse Loan and Church Hill.
