Following the launch of her moving single ‘I Remember’, inspired by a mother-daughter relationship affected – but not overwhelmed by – dementia, Tish Tindall will now be giving two unique performances in Radisson hotels in Glasgow and Edinburgh: The tour kicks off at the prestigious Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 26 July 2012, with a second Radisson performance in the equally prestigious Radisson Blu in Edinburgh on Friday 27 July 2012.
The I Remember Tour is an upmarket ‘piano-bar style’ tour featuring the single ‘I Remember’, ‘Maybe‘, ‘Don’t Take Away My Music’. The Northern Scot newspaper described her show as “a superb evening with an exceptionally talented lady.” (review, Aug 2010). David Allan, General Manager of Radisson Blu – Glasgow, said, “We are delighted to be supporting the launch of the Tish Tindall I Remember Tour. A great campaign that we are pleased to be associated with.”
Tish Tindall and Diane Aspinall run Lossiemouth’s Rock Academy of Performing Arts. Diane’s mother, Susan, has dementia and both Tish and Diane have been campaigning to raise awareness about the illness for the past two years. Tish says, “my aim for the tour is simply to raise awareness of this forgotten disease so that everyone affected by dementia can live in supportive communities.”
