Volunteers wanted
A big thank you to everyone who has helped in the world record attempt and sent blanket squares to us. We’re delighted with such a huge response.
We would now appreciate any assistance you could give us in sewing the blankets together. Our Resource Centre in Helensburgh is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 2pm. We also have a sewing group on Monday evening from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. If you could spare a couple of hours over the next few weeks, until the 21st June, then we would welcome you with open arms, tea and cake!
We also need volunteers to assist at Inveraray on Friday 22nd & Saturday the 23rd June. There are a number of jobs for volunteers including manning stalls, marshalling, holding the blanket up for photo shoot, etc. – it will take many hands to hold it up in front of the castle!
