Dementia Strategy Implementation – Lanarkshire

Alzheimer Scotland, NHS Lanarkshire and The Scottish Government are holding an event in Wishaw General Hospital on the 22 October to illustrate how the National Dementia Strategy has been implemented across NHS Lanarkshire and its impact within the board.
Presentations will include:
- Improved Dementia Care in Acute Care
- Improvement Plans (following the recent Older People Care Inspections in Acute Hospitals)
- Dementia Champions
- What lies ahead for NHS Lanarkshire
Presentations will be delivered by Maureen Taggart (Alzheimer Scotland Dementia Nurse Consultant), Joan James (Divisional Nurse Director Acute), Ros Moore (Chef Nursing Officer, Scottish Government) and Henry Simmons (Chief Executive, Alzheimer Scotland).
