‘Living well with dementia’ DVD local launch event

Rutherglen Town Hall, Rutherglen

NHS Health Scotland, Alzheimer Scotland, the Scottish Dementia Working Group and the Lanarkshire Dementia Strategy Implementation Group are launching their ‘Living well with dementia’ DVD.

The launch will:

  • provide a preview of ‘Living well with dementia’
  • showcase a production of the play ‘Seeing Auntie’ which has been developed in conjunction with carers and people with dementia
  • bring together people with dementia, families and friends of people with dementia, organisations working in the field and those involved in the development of the DVD to provide a forum for discussion, networking and shared learning.

This event is the first in several local launches scheduled to take place throughout Scotland later this year. The next event will take place at the Heriot Watt University Conference Centre in Edinburgh on Thursday 30 June.
