Help us raise awareness of dementia in Scotland’s media

Norrie and Janet dancing

Would you be willing to speak publicly about your experiences with dementia?

Talking to the media about dementia can help to increase awareness and understanding of the illness. Alzheimer Scotland greatly needs people who are willing to share their stories with the Scottish media. You could be:

  • a person with dementia;
  • a partner, relative or close friend of someone with dementia;
  • have a story to tell about why you’re raising money for Alzheimer Scotland.

There are all sorts of ways in which you can be a media ambassador for Alzheimer Scotland. Even if you wish to remain completely anonymous, we could use your story as a case study on our website.

To find out more about becoming an Media Ambassador for Alzheimer Scotland, fill in our online volunteering form and click ‘being a Media Ambassador for Alzheimer Scotland’.
