Salary: ££7.62-£7.85 per hour
Holiday pay based on hours worked
Job Description
Alzheimer Scotland provides home care services throughout both North and South Lanarkshire to people diagnosed as having dementia. Having own transport would be an advantage although not essential. Alzheimer Scotland provides a comprehensive package of benefits to workers with a 10% pension contribution from the employer.
The Support Worker will, as appropriate, provide personal care, social care and support to people with dementia in their own homes or on day opportunity activities. The Support Worker will have responsibility for ensuring that they provide the highest possible level of care and stimulating activities to people affected by dementia.
A relevant social care/nursing qualification/experience would be beneficial but is not essential as appropriate training will be given.

- A willingness to learn and participate in training required
